Job summary

Delaware North New Zealand is seeking a full-time Kitchenhand to join our team at BurgerFuel, Auckland Airport. You will ensure cleanliness, order, and efficiency in the kitchen while upholding food safety standards and supporting the kitchen team.

Ideal candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have a Food Safety Certificate, and can rotate across a 7-day roster. This position offers opportunities for training and progression within our global network.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area.
• Perform temperature and quality checks and manage cross-contamination to meet Food Safety standards.
• Assist kitchen team in keeping workspace organized and efficient.
• Clean dishes and utensils, operate dishwasher, handle waste and cleaning chemicals.
• Support food preparation tasks in a commercial kitchen with good presentation.
