Red Stag TimberLab Limited is seeking a Factory Operations & Administrator to join our team at our East Tamaki, Auckland facility. This is a part-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our operations while maintaining flexibility in your work schedule.
In this role, you will be the backbone of our day-to-day factory operations, providing essential administrative support whilst ensuring smooth workflow across our facility. You will work closely with operational teams and Operations Manager to maintain efficiency, accuracy, and organisation across all administrative functions. This position is integral to supporting our factory's success and directly impacts the productivity and effectiveness of our entire operation.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, distribute, collect, file, and maintain manufacturing documentation and drawings.
Coordinate dispatch documentation, and delivery paperwork.
Receive and record incoming stock and materials.
Place purchase orders and manage supplier communications.
Follow up on deliveries and order discrepancies.
Support monthly stock takes and maintain accurate stock records.
Assist with quality assurance documentation and record keeping.
Provide health and safety administrative support.
Monitor and coordinate factory consumables, stationery, cleaning, and waste services.
Support maintenance documentation, tool registers, manuals, and operating instructions.
Assist with FSC compliance administration and certification requirements.
Provide general administrative and personal assistant support to the Operations Manager.
Manage incoming phone calls and general office administration.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous administration experience, ideally within manufacturing, production, logistics, construction, or a trade-based environment.
Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
Confidence working with systems such as MYOB and Microsoft Office.
Experience maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Strong communication skills and confidence liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
The ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work independently.
A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
An interest in operational processes, stock control, and continuous improvement.
