Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Auckland is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead a team responsible for the operation and maintenance of a portfolio of buildings. You will oversee daily facilities activities, safety, and client satisfaction across a corporate environment.

You will coordinate capital projects, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with local regulations while mentoring staff and driving operational efficiencies in a dynamic, multinational setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Facility Management certification preferred.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
• Schedule and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines.
• Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance by working with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
• Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.
• Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.
• Perform facility inspections quality assurance following local, state, and federal regulations. Suggest operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities.
• Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
• Oversee vendor relationships and invoicing procedures. Review price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
