Job summary

Air New Zealand is seeking a permanent Facilities Manager in Auckland to lead the delivery of safe, compliant and well-maintained workplaces across our network, including head office and airport sites.

You will manage facilities costs against budgets, drive improvements, oversee contractor performance and health & safety across the portfolio, with occasional after-hours and national travel.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of building compliance, systems and procedures.
• Strong communication and relationship-management skills across all levels of the organisation.
• Commitment to maintaining high professional standards in a busy operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage facilities costs and revenue against budgets and forecasts.
• Identify and implement improvements for efficient facilities delivery.
• Provide contract management, including remote oversight and documentation reviews prior to works.
• Maintain a safe working environment with a focus on Health & Safety inspections and controls.
• Coordinate scheduled maintenance, RM & capital works to support budgets.
• Develop and maintain documentation for maintenance procedures and business continuity.
