Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee building operations and maintenance for a portfolio of facilities in Auckland. The role leads a team and collaborates with property managers to support asset operations and investment plans.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) with 3–5 years in facilities management, plus a valid driver’s license and optional FM certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Facility Management certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Leadership skills to motivate team and improve quality, efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees, conduct performance evaluations, and hire staff.
• Manage daily team activities, set work schedules, and track deadlines.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
• Maintain client relationships and resolve unresolved facility issues.
• Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets and variance reports.
• Conduct facility inspections and suggest operational improvements.
• Oversee environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
• Review vendor quotes and procurement for parts, services and labor.
• Deliver training on maintenance, safety best practices.
• Lead by example in line with CBRE RISE values.
