Job summary

Dunedin Venues Management Limited (DVML) is seeking an experienced Facilities & Event Services Lead to drive a hands-on, multi-venue operations team. You will oversee venue setups, maintenance, asset management and contractor coordination to ensure event readiness and exceptional client experiences.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will lead a team of venue support staff, coordinate logistics across DVML venues, and collaborate with clients, suppliers and internal teams to deliver

• Experience in facilities management, venue operations, logistics, events, or a similar environment.
• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A practical, solutions-focused approach and willingness to get involved operationally and be hands on.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail and commitment to customer service.

We are seeking an experienced Facilities & Event Services Lead to join our Operations team. This is an exciting opportunity for a practical leader who enjoys balancing people leadership, facilities maintenance, logistics, and event delivery in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

About the Role

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our venues are maintained to a high standard, event-ready, and supported by efficient operational processes.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will lead a team of venue support staff, coordinate venue setups, maintenance activities, contractor management, and operational logistics across multiple venues, while helping deliver exceptional experiences for clients, hirers, and event attendees.

Key Responsibilities
