ALH is recruiting on behalf of one of Taranaki's leading boutique event hire businesses for an experienced Team Leader to join their close-knit team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys leading from the front, thrives in a hands‑on environment, and takes pride in delivering exceptional events. From weddings and corporate functions to large‑scale community events, no two days are the same.

About the Role

As the Team Leader, you'll oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the crew, ensuring equipment is prepared, transported and installed safely and efficiently. You'll be responsible for organising work, working together and supporting the team on‑site, and maintaining high standards of customer service and presentation.

What's on Offer

  • Standard hours of 8am-5:00pm, with longer days during the busy event season when required and reduced hours over the colder winter months
  • Opportunity for a winter break, overseas travel, or a winter alternative e.g. ski season
  • A supportive, family-focused workplace where your contribution is genuinely valued.
  • Paid lunch break
  • Varied and rewarding work

The business experiences its busiest period from October through to May, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced seasonal environment.
