Qualifications

• Hold FACEM or an equivalent qualification.
• Have postgraduate fellowship training (preferred).
• Be eligible for an Annual Practising Certificate and vocational scope of Emergency Medicine with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
• Have Emergency Medicine experience and knowledge of the unique demands in a provincial hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients in the Marlborough region.
• Work rostered shifts across Monday to Sunday, including weekend shifts.
• Participate in an after-hours on-call roster.
• Supervise and train registrars, house officers, and medical students.
