Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is expanding its Emergency Department at Nelson Hospital in Nelson Tasman. We are seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our growing team in permanent roles, with 0.8-1.0 FTE options and weekend/night rosters.

FACEM or equivalent training is essential, with postgraduate fellowship preferred. These positions offer a supportive, multidisciplinary environment and opportunities to train registrars and medical students within a modern, expanded ED.

Qualificações

• Hold FACEM or an equivalent qualification.
• Postgraduate fellowship training preferred.
• Eligible for Annual Practising Certificate and vocational scope in Emergency Medicine.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in rostered shift work, including weekends and nights.
• Supervise and train registrars, house officers, and medical students.
• Contribute to development of the ED service within the expanded facility.
