Mott MacDonald in Auckland seeks a Façade Engineer to lead design and delivery of façade and building envelope packages across multiple projects in New Zealand. Qualifications

• Degree in Civil, Structural, Architectural or Building Engineering.
• 5–10 years' experience in façade engineering, building envelopes or related disciplines.
• Familiarity with New Zealand standards and Building Code requirements.
• Experience delivering projects in a consulting environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using digital engineering tools; BIM and Revit advantageous.
• Commitment to technical excellence, quality and safety.
• Progress toward, or achievement of, Chartered Professional Engineer status or equivalent.

We are looking for a Façade Engineer to join our Auckland team and help deliver high-quality building envelope solutions across a diverse portfolio of commercial, aviation, education, residential and public infrastructure projects. You'll work alongside leading façade specialists while contributing to projects that shape Auckland and communities across New Zealand.

The role

• Lead the design and delivery of façade and building envelope packages across multiple projects.

About you

We're interested in candidates who can demonstrate:

• A degree in Civil, Structural, Architectural or Building Engineering.
• Approximately 5–10 years' experience in façade engineering, building envelopes or related disciplines.
• Familiarity with relevant New Zealand standards and Building Code requirements, particularly structure, durability and external moisture.
• Experience delivering projects within a consulting environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using digital engineering tools, with BIM and Revit experience considered advantageous.
• A commitment to technical excellence, quality and safety.
• Progress toward, or achievement of, Chartered Professional Engineer status or an equivalent professional accreditation.

Our Auckland façade team supports a wide range of projects, including airports, commercial developments, education facilities, residential towers, public buildings and major urban infrastructure projects. Examples include aviation developments, commercial office buildings, apartment developments and university facilities across New Zealand.
