Job summary

Aglobally established transport and logistics provider is seeking a skilled Export Airfreight Coordinator to manage end-to-end shipments from booking through departure. You will handle a diverse portfolio of customers, work with overseas partners and service providers, and ensure timely, compliant exports.

Qualifications

• Experience in international freight forwarding or airfreight is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of export processes and documentation.
• Familiarity with Incoterms and compliance requirements.
• Experience with CargoWise or similar freight forward­ing systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Export Airfreight shipments from booking to departure.
• Own a portfolio of customers, delivering responsive and high-quality service.
• Coordinate with overseas agents, airlines, carriers and service providers.
• Prepare and check export documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Track shipments to ensure freight moves to customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate shipment and financial information in CargoWise.
• Resolve operational issues quickly while keeping customers informed.
• Ensure shipments meet regulatory requirements and internal processes.
• Collaborate with the wider operations team to deliver seamless service.
• Identify and support process improvements across the operation.

About You

We’re looking for someone with previous experience working within an international freight forwarding environment who understands the Export Airfreight process and enjoys working in a customer-focused operational role.

You will ideally have:

• Freight forwarding experience within an international environment
• Strong knowledge of export processes and documentation
• Sound understanding of Incoterms
• CargoWise experience or exposure to similar freight forwarding systems
• Confident communication and customer service skills
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• The ability to juggle multiple shipments and competing prioritiesA collaborative mindset with the confidence to work independently

You must be a New Zealand citizen/resident or hold a valid New Zealand work visa with the appropriate working rights for the position.
