Job summary

Greenlight Recruitment client in Canterbury seeks an import operations professional to join a close-knit freight forwarder. You will manage import workflows, coordinate shipments by air and sea, and ensure smooth handover to customers.

The ideal candidate has NZ import operations experience, understands EDI CargoWise (advantageous), strong organisation, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset to thrive under pressure in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience in import operations within a New Zealand freight forwarder.
• Knowledge of air and sea freight is preferred.
• Experience with EDI CargoWise is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong organisational and time management skills are required.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach is desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work well in a team and under pressure.
