Geneva Healthcare is hiring a compassionate Support Worker to assist medically fragile children in the Beach Heaven (Northshore) area. You will provide practical and emotional support to help clients achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

Responsibilities include hoisting/transfers, personal care, oxygen monitoring, feeding via PEG, and monitoring for seizures. You must be willing to complete Geneva training.

Formación

• Previous support worker experience in the disability field.
• Background in supporting medically fragile children/complex needs.
• Qualifications - Level 3/Level 4 in health and wellbeing.
• Full NZ driver’s licence and reliable transport.

What You’ll Do:

As a Support Worker, you’ll help medically fragile children achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives through practical and emotional support. Tasks may include:

• Oxygen monitoring, medication


• Suctioning, feeding via PEG,


• Monitor for seizure activity


• Candidate must be willing to complete all Geneva pre-requisite training.
