Job summary

Geneva Healthcare in Auckland is seeking an empathetic, passionate Support Worker to assist medically fragile children in the Beach Heaven (Northshore) area. The role offers guaranteed hours, travel allowance, and free training toward NZQA Health & Wellbeing qualifications.

You will provide practical and emotional support, assist with hoisting/transfers, and personal cares, while completing Geneva pre-requisite training. Weekend availability and reliable transport are required.

Qualifications

• Previous support worker experience in the disability field.
• Background in supporting medically fragile children/complex needs.
• Great communication skills and flexibility to work on weekends.
• Qualifications - Level 3/Level 4 in health and wellbeing.
• Full NZ driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• Applicants must have the right to work in New Zealand and be willing to undergo police vetting and other checks.
