Geneva Healthcare Whangaparaoa/Orewa is seeking an empathetic Support Worker to help clients achieve goals and live fulfilling lives through practical and emotional support.

You will provide meal preparation, community outings, medication support, personal care, and safe transfers, with training provided and a driver’s license preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving or healthcare roles is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Flexible to work alternate weekends and adapt to client needs.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation for clients.
• Plan and participate in community outings and client integration.
• Medication support under supervision and accurate documentation.
• Assist with personal care tasks (showering, toileting, etc.).
• Assist with manual handling and hoist transfers.
