$70,000-$80,000 + Company Vehicle + Fuel + Phone + New Management Incentives
We’re looking for an experienced Property Manager to join our established Property Management team at Harcourts Northwest Realty.
This isn’t a senior management position, and we’re not looking for someone to run a department or manage a large team.
We’re simply looking for a capable, experienced Property Manager who enjoys looking after their clients, tenants and properties well — and wants to be part of a supportive, established local business.
A genuinely manageable portfolio
One of the biggest differences with this role is the portfolio size.
You’ll be responsible for approximately 75 residential properties.
We deliberately want to keep the portfolio at a manageable level so you have the time to communicate properly with your owners and tenants, stay ahead of the details and provide a genuinely good level of service.
If you’re currently carrying a significantly larger portfolio and constantly feel like you’re chasing your tail, this could be a refreshing change.
Your first 90 days - We want to set you up properly, your initial induction period will be about getting to know the business, your portfolio, your landlords and tenants, and understanding the way we operate.
During approximately your first 90 days, you’ll work across the full Property Management process so you develop a really good understanding of your portfolio, the properties and the people within it.
Following that period, we intend to introduce a dedicatedLeasing & Inspections Manager to provide additional support to our Property Management team.
Our Leasing & Inspections Managerwill take responsibility for a significant amount of the field-based activity across the portfolio, including:
Our philosophy is pretty simple.
We want our Property Managers to have the time to actually manage their properties and look after their clients, rather than spending their entire week running from appointment to appointment.
You’ll retain overall responsibility for your portfolio and the relationships that come with it.
Your focus will include:
We want you focused on being a really good Property Manager.
Ideally, you’ll already have 3 plus years of residential Property Management experience and understand what it takes to successfully manage your own portfolio.
You’ll be organised, practical, proactive and a good communicator.
Just as importantly, you’ll be someone who enjoys being part of a team, genuinely cares about doing a good job for people and is comfortable identifying opportunities to help grow the business.
We also offer additional incentives for new managements you personally introduce to the business, giving you the opportunity to earn above your base salary as you help us grow.
We’re not looking for someone who necessarily wants the biggest title or the biggest portfolio.
We’re looking for someone experienced who wants a good role, a manageable portfolio, a strong package, additional earning opportunities, great support and a team they enjoy being part of.
If that sounds like the kind of Property Management role you’ve been looking for, we’d love to hear from you.
