Job summary

Integrity Recruitment is partnering with a fast-growing property management company in Napier City, North Island, to recruit a Property Manager. This role focuses on building relationships with landlords and tenants, coordinating maintenance, and ensuring compliance with the Residential Tenancies Act.

You will be supported by a collaborative team and dedicated field resources, with a strong emphasis on service and career development.

Qualifications

• Experience in property management or related client-facing roles.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and organisational skills.
• Valid NZ driver licence required.

Responsibilities

• Manage or learn to manage residential property portfolios, including tenants and landlords.
• Coordinate maintenance with contractors and schedule inspections.
• Prepare tenancy documentation and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Manage rent arrears and tenancy matters professionally.
• Support end-of-tenancy processes and bond handling.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Depending on your level of experience, you'll either manage or learn to manage a residential property portfolio, including:

• Building strong relationships with landlords and tenants
• Coordinating maintenance and repairs with contractors
• Preparing tenancy documentation and ensuring legislative compliance
• Managing rent arrears and tenancy matters professionally
• Reviewing property inspections and following up maintenance requirements
• Managing bond refunds and end-of-tenancy processes
• Developing a strong understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act
• Providing proactive advice that helps landlords protect and maximise their investment

If you already have Property Management experience, that's fantastic. If you don't, experience in customer service, administration, real estate, hospitality, banking, insurance, retail management or another relationship-focused role will be highly regarded. Most importantly, we're looking for someone with the attitude and aptitude to learn.
