Job summary

Simon Penn Building Ltd is seeking an experienced carpenter to join our small, skilled team working on high-end residential and architectural homes across Whanganui. You’ll take pride in precision workmanship and contribute to quality renovations and Passive House projects.

You’ll work on diverse builds with good tooling and organised sites, supported by a friendly team and stable hours. NZ trade qualification and reliable, team-focused attitude are essential; NZ citizen/PR or valid work visa

• Solid carpentry experience and NZ trade qualification.
• Pride in precision, quality workmanship, and attention to detail.
• Full set of well-maintained hand tools.
• Team player with reliability and motivation.
• NZ citizen, permanent resident, or holds a valid NZ work visa.

You'll be working on high-end, architecturally designed homes and quality renovations throughout Whanganui. If you take pride in your workmanship and enjoy building something you're proud of, you'll fit well into our team.

You'll have the opportunity to work across a variety of interesting projects, including high-end new builds, renovations and Passive House and high-performance construction.

• Has solid carpentry experience and a NZ trade qualification

• Takes ownership of their work and cares about the finished result
• New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or holds a valid NZ work visa
