Job summary
Simon Penn Building Ltd is seeking an experienced carpenter to join our small, skilled team working on high-end residential and architectural homes across Whanganui. You’ll take pride in precision workmanship and contribute to quality renovations and Passive House projects.
You’ll work on diverse builds with good tooling and organised sites, supported by a friendly team and stable hours. NZ trade qualification and reliable, team-focused attitude are essential; NZ citizen/PR or valid work visa
Qualifications
- Solid carpentry experience and NZ trade qualification.
- Pride in precision, quality workmanship, and attention to detail.
- Full set of well-maintained hand tools.
- Team player with reliability and motivation.
- NZ citizen, permanent resident, or holds a valid NZ work visa.
Responsibilities
- Work on high-end residential and architectural homes.
- Contribute to renovations and Passive House/high-performance builds.
