Job summary

AWF Limited in Nelson is seeking an experienced Tyre Fitter to join a busy, well-established tyre business. This hands-on role involves fitting, balancing, repairing and rotating tyres across passenger, 4WD, light commercial and fleet vehicles while delivering excellent customer service.

You will work in a fast-paced workshop with a supportive team, maintain high safety standards and participate in stock handling and general duties. A NZ Driver Licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Tyre Fitter with familiarity in tyre fitting, balancing and rotation.
• Ability to perform wheel alignments and inspect tyres for suitable solutions.
• Strong customer service and teamwork in a busy workshop.
• Willingness to work in a safety-conscious environment.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Tyre Fitter to join a busy and well-established tyre business in Nelson. This is a hands-on role working with a supportive team in a fast-paced environment, servicing a wide range of passenger, commercial, and fleet vehicles. What You'll Be Doing

What You Need

• Previous experience as a Tyre Fitter
• Strong knowledge of tyre fitting and balancing procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment
• Full New Zealand Driver Licence
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, physically fit, and safety-conscious attitude
• Wheel alignment experience is advantageous but not essential
