Job summary

Bridgestone New Zealand in Tauranga is seeking a Tyre Technician to join our store team. You will fit, repair and maintain passenger tyres, diagnose wear, and help customers understand what their vehicle needs in a hands-on workshop setting.

You'll gain practical skills in a safety-conscious environment, with full on-the-job training, uniform and PPE provided, and clear growth opportunities within a leading global brand.

Qualifications

• Full, clean NZ Driver's Licence.
• Willingness to learn; experience is a bonus, not a requirement.
• Physical fitness for hands-on manual work.
• Good communication skills and a genuine interest in helping customers.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently when needed.

Responsibilities

• Fit, repair and maintain passenger tyres in a workshop.

Our Tauranga store is looking for a Tyre Technician to join the team — and whether you're coming from a trade background with experience already or just ready for something hands-on and rewarding, you'll be welcomed here.

The Role

This is a varied, active role at the heart of our Tauranga store. You'll be fitting, repairing and maintaining passenger tyres, diagnosing tyre wear and helping customers understand what their vehicle needs — all in a workshop environment where safety comes first and the team has your back.

No two days here are exactly the same, and you'll build real, practical skills that stay with you for life.
