Job summary

AWF Limited in Nelson is seeking an experienced Tyre Fitter to join a busy, well-established tyre business. This hands-on role involves fitting, balancing, repairing and rotating tyres across passenger, 4WD, light commercial and fleet vehicles while delivering excellent customer service.

You will work in a fast-paced workshop with a supportive team, maintain high safety standards and participate in stock handling and general duties. A NZ Driver Licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Tyre Fitter with familiarity in tyre fitting, balancing and rotation.
• Ability to perform wheel alignments and inspect tyres for suitable solutions.
• Strong customer service and teamwork in a busy workshop.
• Willingness to work in a safety-conscious environment.

Responsibilities

• Fitting, balancing, repairing, and rotating tyres.
• Conducting wheel alignments (experience preferred).
• Servicing passenger, 4WD, light commercial, and fleet vehicles.
• Inspecting tyres and advising customers on suitable solutions.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workshop.
• Assisting with stock handling and general workshop duties.
• Delivering excellent customer service.
