Qualifications

  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Experience coordinating meetings, travel, events and office operations.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and confidence working across multiple systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage diaries, meetings, travel arrangements and executive administration for senior leaders
  • Coordinate internal meetings, presentations, catering and meeting room preparation
  • Process expenses, invoices and other administrative documentation
  • Oversee office operations including supplies, couriers, facilities and workplace presentation
  • Support new starters, onboarding activities and office communications
  • Coordinate employee and client functions, events and workplace initiatives
  • Maintain a welcoming and professional environment for employees, clients and visitors
  • Support health and safety requirements, including fire warden responsibilities
  • Liaise with internal teams and external service providers to ensure seamless office operations
  • Assist with broader leadership and office support activities as required

The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Executive Assistant & Office Manager to join our Christchurch team on a 12-month fixed-term contract covering parental leave.

This is a unique opportunity that combines executive support responsibilities with ownership of day-to-day office operations, creating a varied and highly visible role at the centre of the business.

You’ll provide support to senior leadership while ensuring the Christchurch office runs smoothly and presents professionally for employees, clients and visitors. From coordinating meetings and travel to managing office operations, events and workplace experience initiatives, you’ll be the person who keeps everything moving efficiently behind the scenes.

This role offers plenty of variety, autonomy and the opportunity to build strong relationships across the business while making a meaningful impact on both employee and client experience. Based on site in Christchurch, you’ll be an important part of maintaining a positive, organised and high-performing workplace environment.
