Job summary

Graham Consulting seeks an experienced Executive Assistant to join our client in Canterbury, New Zealand for an initial 6-month fixed-term contract with potential to become permanent. You'll provide proactive administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team, coordinating travel, meetings, events, and office operations while assisting across People & Safety and Finance.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar executive support role.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Experience coordinating travel, meetings, events, and business documentation.
  • Able to manage confidentiality and maintain professional discretion.
  • Proactive, customer-focused approach across multiple business functions.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating travel, meetings, events, and office operations.
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and employee initiatives.
  • Assisting with Health & Safety administration.
  • Supporting the Finance team with expense processing, reconciliations, reporting, and supplier documentation.
  • Providing wider business administration support to the Senior Leadership Team.

Ready for an EA role that gives you more than just diary and travel management? This is a great opportunity for an EA wanting broader exposure across a business and its leadership team.

Reporting to the Senior Leadership Team, this is an initial 6-month fixed-term, full-time role providing parental leave cover, with strong potential to become permanent for the right person. As Executive Assistant, you'll provide professional and proactive administrative support across the business, working closely with members of the Senior Leadership Team and supporting key functions across People & Culture, Health & Safety, Finance, and General Management.

This is a highly varied role where you'll coordinate travel, meetings, events, office operations, and a wide range of business administration activities — a great opportunity to build breadth across HR, Health & Safety and Finance while working closely with senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

About you

You’ll be immediately available to get stuck in and have:
