Job summary

Ka Puta Ka Ora Emerge Aotearoa in Wellington is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support our Group Chief People Officer. This is a genuine business partnership role at the heart of the organisation, contributing to executive priorities, governance materials, and Board engagement.

You’ll manage a complex diary, coordinate meetings and travel, prepare high‑quality documentation and presentations, and build trusted relationships with stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting senior leaders in a dynamic organisation.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Proven diary management and calendar coordination skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication for governance materials.
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the Chief People Officer to manage priorities and executive effectiveness.
  • Proactively manage a complex diary and prioritise time usage.
  • Coordinate meetings, travel, events, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Prepare high-quality documentation, presentations, and governance materials.
  • Build trusted relationships and act as a connection point across the organisation.
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and sound judgement.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Contribute to executive planning, board engagement, and organisational change.
