Auckland Radiology Group – Auckland, North Island

We’re looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to provide proactive, high-quality support to RHCNZ’s Chief Radiologist and coordination support to our Regional Managing Radiologists. This permanent role, based in either Auckland or Christchurch, will be a central point of connection for radiologist leadership activity across our national organisation.
You’ll work closely with senior clinical leaders, anticipating priorities, coordinating complex schedules and forums, preparing high-quality documentation and ensuring decisions and actions keep moving.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, exercises sound judgement and takes pride in making complex work feel well organised and straightforward.

The work will include:

  • Providing proactive executive support to the Chief Radiologist, including diary management, travel, meeting logistics, correspondence, briefings and follow-up.
  • Coordinating Managing Radiologist meetings, leadership forums and governance processes, including agendas, papers, minutes, decisions and action logs.
  • Preparing clear, professional communications, presentations, reports and leadership updates.
  • Supporting strategic projects and initiatives through strong planning, documentation, coordination and progress reporting.
  • Assisting with radiologist recruitment, credentialing, induction and onboarding administration.
  • Improving templates, systems and administrative processes so information and workflows are consistent and easy to navigate.

You’ll be an accomplished Executive Assistant, senior coordinator or administration professional who is confident supporting senior leaders in a complex environment. You’ll be calm under pressure, comfortable managing competing priorities and trusted to handle sensitive information with discretion.
You’ll likely have:

  • Significant experience in an Executive Assistant, Administration Manager, senior coordinator or similar role.
  • Experience supporting senior leaders or executives, ideally within healthcare or another complex or regulated environment.
  • Excellent organisation, prioritisation and time-management skills, with the ability to anticipate needs and follow through.
  • Strong written communication, minute-taking and document preparation skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft 365 capability across Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Excel, with confidence using AI tools appropriately.
  • Sound judgement, professionalism and a high level of discretion when working with confidential information.
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach, strong attention to detail and a warm, responsive working style.

You’ll play an important role in enabling senior clinical leaders to focus on the priorities that matter most. The position offers broad exposure across RHCNZ, meaningful work in a healthcare environment and the opportunity to shape efficient, consistent ways of working across a national leadership group.
