Job summary

Hunter Campbell in New Zealand is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support the Managing Director with diary management, inbox triage and reporting. You will prepare meeting packs, coordinate key projects and craft concise briefing notes, enabling senior leadership decisions from day one.

You will thrive in a fast-moving SME, maintain confidential information and deliver polished output at pace, with strong Microsoft 365 skills and superb organisational discipline.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in an EA, PA or senior administrative support role.
  • Experience supporting a senior executive, ideally CEO/MD/GM.
  • Confident managing competing priorities in a fast-changing workload.
  • Strong written communicator with polished output at pace.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365; quick to pick up new tools.

About the Company

Our client is a well-established New Zealand industrial distribution business in an active growth phase. Led by a hands-on, commercially focused Managing Director, this is a leadership team that moves with pace and intent, backed by a credible growth strategy.

Role Summary

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll provide high-level executive support across diary management, inbox triage, reporting and communications. This is a broad and varied EA role with genuine scope to grow, offering exposure to senior leadership decision-making from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to support smooth day-to-day operations
Key Skills & Experience Required
