Health New Zealand – Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau is seeking a part-time Ward Clerk for Ward 1 at Middlemore Hospital. You’ll be the first point of contact for patients, whānau and staff, delivering efficient admin, clerical and reception services to support high-quality patient care.

Role requires good communication, organisation, and teamwork; 38.4 hours per fortnight, 3:30pm–9pm, seven days on seven days off, based at Middlemore Hospital.

Qualifications

• Frontline reception and telephone experience.
• Computer literacy and basic software skills.
• Previous administration experience in a healthcare environment.
• Flexible team player with attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Provide admin, clerical and reception support on Ward 1.
• Maintain ward readiness and patient admission records.
• Support daily ward operations and communication.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team.
