Job summary

Westpac New Zealand Ltd is seeking a Delivery Lead in Transformation and Customer Operations to steer enterprise-wide change initiatives from planning to embedding in business and IT. You will drive governance, stakeholder engagement and resource management across complex programmes in a banking context.

Applicants should demonstrate strong project management, agile capabilities and experience delivering multi-team transformations that align with strategic goals and financial accountability.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of Project Management lifecycle.
• Ability to break down scope into epics, stories and prioritise.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Banking experience preferred Westpac.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide initiatives within agreed scope, time, cost and quality.
• Ensure governance and reporting meets Transformation Office requirements.
• Engage stakeholders, vendors and third parties to ensure delivery.
• Manage resources, sponsors and identify delivery risks.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Manage initiative budget and forecasting.
