Job summary
Westpac New Zealand Ltd is seeking a senior finance professional to own the financial view across a major digital transformation programme. You will partner with Programme and Technology leaders to provide commercial insight and challenge for sound investment and delivery decisions.
You’ll lead budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking and financial reporting, track benefits, and translate complex programme activity into clear insights for senior stakeholders, with advanced Excel and finance systems
Qualifications
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis experience.
- Experience managing financials across complex transformation or technology programmes.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with finance and reporting systems.
- Relevant finance qualification, banking or financial services experience desirable.
Responsibilities
- Lead the financial management of a large, multi-year digital investment.
- Own budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking and financial reporting.
- Track investment performance, benefits and financial outcomes.
- Translate complex programme activity into clear, actionable insights.
- Identify financial risks, cost pressures and forecast variances early.
- Support programme prioritisation and funding decisions.
- Maintain strong financial control and governance across the programme.
