Job summary

OJI Fibre Solutions in Levin, NZ, is seeking a leader to head and develop the Engineering team, including Electrical and Reliability Engineers, Planner/Stores and shift-based trades. The role focuses on enhancing equipment reliability, maintenance excellence and operational performance in a manufacturing environment.

You will report to the Facility Manager and drive relentless improvement across maintenance planning, CMMS usage and capital projects while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong people leadership, communication and influencing skills.
• Strong Health & Safety focus.
• Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) experience.
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge.
• CMMS and maintenance planning experience.
• Project and capital improvement experience.
• A Mechanical or Electrical trade and/or tertiary qualification.
• Experience in manufacturing, packaging, FMCG or similar industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a skilled Engineering team comprising a Electrical and Reliability Engineers, Planner/Stores person and shift-based Mechanical and Electrical Trades staff.
• Under your leadership relentless improvement in equipment reliability, maintenance excellence and operational performance will be key priorities.
