Job summary
OJI Fibre Solutions NZ Ltd. is seeking a dynamic engineering leader to head the Packaging NZ Central operations in Levin.
You will lead an Engineering team, drive maintenance and reliability initiatives, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure high performance in a fast-paced FMCG packaging environment. Based at Levin, this role offers a hands-on leadership position with visibility across the Central Business Unit, a focus on safety, and opportunities to deliver significant capital
Qualifications
- Strong people leadership, communication and influencing skills.
- Strong Health & Safety focus.
- Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) experience.
- Lean Manufacturing knowledge.
- CMMS and maintenance planning experience.
- Project and capital improvement experience.
- A Mechanical or Electrical trade and/or tertiary qualification.
- Experience in manufacturing, packaging, FMCG or similar industries.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a skilled Engineering team comprising Electrical and Reliability Engineers, Planner/Stores person and shift-based Mechanical and Electrical Trades staff.
- Drive relentless improvement in equipment reliability, maintenance excellence and operational performance.
- Collaborate with the Central Business Unit Leadership Team to execute strategic maintenance plans.
