Job summary

Genius Early Years is seeking a qualified, fully registered Early Childhood Education Teacher to join our Home-Based Early Learning Service Team as a Visiting Teacher in the Marlborough/Nelson region. This permanent part-time role starts at 15 hours per week with a view to increase as the network grows.

You will provide professional leadership and support to in-home Educators and Nannies, travel across the region, and help deliver high-quality learning outcomes for Tamariki and whānau, while

Qualifications

• Qualified Early Childhood Teacher with Diploma of Teaching.
• Current NZ Education Council practising certificate.
• Experience leading adults, mentoring and coaching.
• Full clean NZ driver’s license.
• Knowledge of professional practice in ECE.
• Understanding of MOE legislation.
• Ability to juggle a varied workload.
• Excellent time management.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to build professional relationships.
• Experience with learning stories and programme planning.
• Some administration experience.
• Good computer skills.

Responsibilities
