Job summary

Qjumpers is seeking a qualified Early Childhood Education Teacher to join our Home-Based Early Learning Service as a Visiting Teacher. You will provide professional leadership and support to in-home Educators and Au Pairs, travelling across the Waikato/BOP regions.

The role is part-time (starting at 10 hours/week) with a permanent status and potential to grow as the network expands. NZ residents only enjoy free training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Qualified, fully registered Early Childhood Education Teacher
• Current NZ Education Council practising certificate
• Experience in leading adults, mentoring and coaching
• Full clean NZ driver's licence
• Knowledge of professional practice in early childhood education
• Understanding of Ministry of Education legislation
• Ability to juggle a varied workload
• Excellent time management skills
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
• Experience with learning stories, programme planning and administration
• Good computer skills

Responsibilities

• Provide professional leadership and support to in-home Educators/Nannies and Au Pairs.
• Travel around the Waikato/BOP regions to support Educators and the team.
• Lead adults through mentoring and coaching.
• Contribute to learning stories and programme planning.

Early Childhood Education Teacher (Visiting)

Wanted: Qualified, fully registered Early Childhood Education Teacher. Join our Home-Based Early Learning Service Team, as a Visiting Teacher. If you are passionate about home-based childcare and enjoy Variety and Flexible working conditions in a fun environment, you will enjoy this role providing professional leadership and support to our in-home Educators.

This role is part time starting on 10 hours per week with the opportunity to increase as the network grows. This permanent part-time position would be based in the Waikato/BOP regions. The successful applicant would need to be prepared to travel around the regions to support our Educators and team.

Our Visiting Teachers provide support and guidance to our wonderful group of home-based Educators/Nannies and Au Pairs, providing excellent early learning outcomes for our Tamariki and whanau. Experience in leading adults and Home-based childcare an advantage.
