Job summary

Commercial Door Services Ltd in Auckland is seeking an energetic, customer-focused technician to service door systems and components across the region. The role offers autonomy, variety, and an emphasis on delivering reliable service with a can‑do attitude.

Overtime is often available with penal rates to boost earnings. You will work from our Auckland base, with provided vehicle, PPE, uniform, phone, tools, and ongoing health and safety training to support your success.

Qualifications

• Experience in our industry or similar trades is preferred.
• Ability to self-manage and think through issues to reach solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and teams.
• Willingness to travel around the Auckland area in a late model vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Performing routine maintenance and repairs on all types of electrical and mechanical door systems.
• Ordering parts, supplies, and equipment when required.
• Updating the company’s database via a company supplied smart phone.
• Keeping customers informed of progress and issues in a timely manner.
• Representing the brand positively with customers.
• Rostered on call afterhours service.

Job description

We are looking for an energetic and customer focused person with a 'can do' attitude and experienced in our industry or similar trades to service our customers’ needs in the Auckland area. Your skills will be put to good use in this autonomous role which offers a lot of variety.

We often have overtime available (with penal rates) that will give you the opportunity to increase your earnings potential.

We are looking for someone with:

• Preferably experience working in the Commercial and Industrial door industry - or related trades
• A keen interest to get out and about in the Auckland area in a late model vehicle
