Job summary

Kinetic Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical/Power professional to become a Technical Trainer & Assessor. You’ll support learners on Level 4 Electrical Trade and Level 5 Power Technician programmes with practical, learner-focused training.

You will deliver training, assess competency, coach and mentor as learners progress, and help continually improve learning resources. National travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Electrical Trade Level 4 or Power Technician Level 5 qualification.
• Experience tutoring, training or assessing learners.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• Willingness to travel nationally.
• Strong planning, organisation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivering technical training across Electrical Trade Level 4 and Power Technician Level 5 programmes.
• Assessing learner competency and marking technical work.
• Coaching and mentoring learners throughout their training journey.
• Providing constructive feedback and supporting learners with different levels of experience and capability.
• Working alongside programme and learning development teams to continually improve training and assessment.
• Contributing to the development and improvement of learning resources.
• Travelling nationally when required to support learners and employers.
