Job summary

Stellar Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor for Taupō-based projects. You will lead electricians on-site, coordinate daily operations and act as the liaison between stakeholders and the workforce. This is a long-term role with potential permanent placement for the right candidate.

Ideal candidates will have an EWRB practising licence, NZ standards knowledge, and strong leadership and communication skills. Site Safe Passport and a full NZ Driver's Licence are required.

• Current EWRB practising licence is required.
• Experience leading electrical teams on-site.
• Strong knowledge of NZ electrical standards and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and plans.
• Experience coordinating labour, materials and project timelines.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Current Site Safe Passport is essential.
• Full NZ Drivers Licence is required.
• Legal right to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day electrical activities on-site.
• Lead and support electricians, apprentices and trade assistants.
• Ensure all work complies with regulations and safety standards.
• Monitor progress and meet key project milestones.
• Manage site quality assurance and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate materials, equipment and subcontractors.
• Liaise with project managers, clients and stakeholders.
• Conduct toolbox talks and foster a strong safety culture.

About The Role

Stellar Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a well-established electrical contractor based in Taupō. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys managing teams, coordinating site activities, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Working across a variety of commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects, you'll be responsible for leading electricians on-site, managing daily operations, and acting as the key link between project stakeholders and the workforce. This role offers long-term work with the opportunity to secure a permanent position with our client for the right person.

About You

• Current EWRB Practising Licence
