Job summary

Stellar Recruitment is partnering with Auckland electrical contractors to recruit Registered Electricians for upcoming projects across commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sectors.

Roles include fixed-term employment or contracting opportunities with competitive rates and consistent weekly pay. You’ll work on sites across Auckland, following NZ electrical standards and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Current EWRB Practising Licence is required.
• Registered Electrician with NZ experience.
• Experience on commercial, industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specs.
• Commitment to health and safety standards.
• NZ working rights (Citizen/PR).

Responsibilities

• Electrical installations across commercial and industrial sites
• Maintenance, servicing, and upgrades of electrical systems
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications
• Cable pulling, terminating, and testing
• Fault finding and troubleshooting
• Switchboard installation and modifications
• Testing and commissioning of electrical equipment
• Ensuring compliance with New Zealand electrical standards
• Participating in toolbox talks and site safety activities
• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and professionalism

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical installations across commercial and industrial sites

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:

• Current EWRB Practising Licence
• Proven experience as a Registered Electrician
• Commercial, industrial, or infrastructure project experience
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work from plans and technical drawings
• Excellent understanding of health and safety requirements
• Reliable transport and a positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid working rights in NZ (Citizen, Permanent and/or Resident visa)
