Job summary

Stellar Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a well-established electrical contractor based in Taupō. This hands-on role leads on-site electricians, coordinates daily activities, and ensures work is delivered safely and to a high standard.

You'll work across commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects, managing labour, materials, and project timelines while liaising with project managers and clients.

Qualifications

• Current EWRB Practising Licence.
• Proven experience leading electrical teams on-site.
• Strong knowledge of NZ electrical standards and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and plans.
• Experience coordinating labour, materials, and project timelines.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Current Site Safe Passport.
• Full NZ Driver's Licence.
• Legal right to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day electrical activities on-site.
• Lead and support electricians, apprentices, and trade assistants; ensure work is completed safely and to regulations.
• Monitor project progress and meet key milestones.
• Manage site quality assurance and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Liaise with project managers, clients, and stakeholders.
• Conduct toolbox talks and promote a strong safety culture.

About the Role

Stellar Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a well-established electrical contractor based in Taupō. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys managing teams, coordinating site activities, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Working across a variety of commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects, you'll be responsible for leading electricians on-site, managing daily operations, and acting as the key link between project stakeholders and the workforce. This role offers long-term work with the opportunity to secure a permanent position with our client for the right person.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
