MCI CONSULTING PTE. LTD. in Queenstown, New Zealand, is seeking an Electrical Engineer/Project Coordinator to join a busy industrial/commercial project team.
You will read schematic drawings, liaise with subcontractors, review contract specs, perform load and fault calculations, and ensure works follow shop drawings and standards. Salary: S$3,500 – S$4,500 per month
Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Working Days: 6 days per week
Location: Queenstown
1 month annual bonus upon completion of 12 months' service.
Outpatient and dental benefits of up to S$500 per year.
Variable performance bonus.
Annual Leave: 14 days, capped at 21 days.
Read, interpret and understand electrical and ELV schematic drawings.
Coordinate and liaise with subcontractors on project-related matters to ensure smooth execution of site works.
Review and understand contract specifications and prepare and submit variation orders according to project requirements.
Perform engineering design, electrical load calculations and fault calculations.
Identify and resolve technical issues relating to electrical installation, testing and commissioning.
Ensure electrical installation works are carried out according to approved shop drawings, method statements, project specifications and relevant standards.
Attend regular site meetings with clients and subcontractors to discuss, coordinate and resolve site matters.
Assist the Project Manager, Site Manager and Construction Manager in monitoring project progress and coordinating site activities.
ITE, Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
1–3 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering or project management within industrial or commercial projects.
Willing to work on a 6-day work week.
