Job summary

ATT in New Zealand seeks a motivated first year Apprentice Electrician to join our team and develop practical electrical skills while working alongside qualified electricians. You will gain hands-on experience and progress as you learn, with training support from ATT.

We value punctuality, reliable transport, and a clean record, and you must be able to pass drug tests and be a NZ resident or citizen. A pre-trade electrical course or gateway placement is beneficial but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Reliability: punctual and dependable.
• Experience in labouring or holiday jobs is acceptable.
• Hands-on with tools and practical tasks.
• NZ resident or citizen and valid evidence.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol tests.

Responsibilities

• Support electricians as an apprentice in electrical tasks.
• Develop practical electrical skills on-site under supervision.
• Contribute to a safe and productive work environment.

We're looking for intelligent, hands-on candidates interested in Electrical apprenticeships in

We are seeking a motivated and reliable first year Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop practical electrical skills while working alongside qualified electricians

You'll need to:

• Be reliable - on time every time
• Have some job experience - whether that's labouring experience, or holiday jobs
• Be good with your hands - you know how to use tools
• Have your driver's license (Restricted or Full) with reliable transport to get to work
• Have a clean criminal record
• Be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol tests
• Be a NZ permanent resident or citizen
• Have an insight into the Electrical trade. Very good at math (at least NCEA L2) and preferably have studied physics. Maybe you have completed an electrical pre-trade course or have completed an Electrical gateway placement while at school (but this is not mandatory)
