Job summary

New World Mt Albert, part of Foodstuffs North Island, is looking for a keen, hardworking and reliable person to join our Dry Goods team. You'll be busy stocking shelves, helping customers, and keeping our aisles tidy in a fast-paced environment.

This 8-hour per week role requires a strong team focus, reliability and a positive attitude. The roster includes Sundays 6am–2:30pm, with hands-on training and opportunities to grow within a locally owned store.

Qualifications

• A reliable, honest team player who works well with others.
• A passion for high presentation standards and getting things right.
• Delivers strong customer service with a positive attitude.
• Willing and able to learn new skills and keep our shelves looking their best.
• Experience in a supermarket or retail environment is an advantage.
• Available to work the roster above.
• Eligible to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Stocking and facing shelves to keep the aisles full and well presented
• Rotating stock and checking dates to keep the range fresh and correct
• Helping customers find what they need and answering questions on the floor
• Keeping aisles, back areas and displays clean, tidy and safe
• Working as part of the team to keep the department running smoothly through busy periods

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, varied environment.You'll be stocking shelves, keeping the aisles full and tidy, and helpingcustomers find what they need. It takes someone who can stay organised, keepmoving, and strive for excellent customer satisfaction every time. A strongfocus on teamwork is a must.

The role (8 hours per week)

Sunday 6am-2.30pm
