Job summary

Downer & Company in Invercargill is seeking a Driver/Operator to join the sealing team. You will operate heavy machinery and support site preparation for civil works as part of infrastructure projects in the region.

If you enjoy outdoor work and staying physically fit, this role offers hands-on activity, outdoor days, and opportunities to develop skills across NZ & Australia. A pre-employment drug test and medical and a Ministry of Justice check are required before starting.

Qualifications

• A Full Class 4/5 Driver Licence at minimum.
• Have practical work experience in road construction and civil.
• A passion for working outdoors and keeping physically fit.
• Show commitment to safe work practices.

Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity

As a Driver Operator for one of the largest infrastructure business' in New Zealand, you will be involved in exciting projects requiring you to pick up civil work, the operation of heavy machinery and preparation of sites. You will be tasked with undertaking a range of civil activities operating a range of machinery such as sprayers and trucks.

If you are physically fit and enjoy spending your days outdoors and on your feet, this could be the position for you.
