Job summary

WM NZ Limited is seeking a Class 5 Driver to service Tauranga with safe, timely collections. You will operate trucks with on-board equipment, maintain records, and perform safety checks to ensure smooth operations.

Applicants should have a clean Class 5 NZ licence and relevant driving experience, with a commitment to health and safety and teamwork. This is an essential-service driving role in New Zealand.

Qualifications

• A clean and up to date Class 5 NZ driver's licence.
• Relevant driving experience.

• Operate a vehicle and on-board equipment to collect services in Tauranga safely and on time.
• Keep accurate records and complete required paperwork.

About the role

As a Driver, you will be responsible for operating a vehicle and equipment on board to ensure a safe and timely collection of service throughout Tauranga. You’ll also be required to keep accurate records and paperwork and undertake vehicle safety checks.

At times there may be some heavy lifting so you will need to have a reasonable level of fitness. From previous experience, you’ll already know the importance of health and safety in the workplace, and you’ll champion our culture of making sure everyone gets home safely.

You are customer-focused and enjoy interacting with customers and colleagues. You’re comfortable working independently and pulling together as part of the team.
