Job summary

Waste Management is seeking a Class 4 Driver for our Queenstown team. You will operate a vehicle and equipment for timely service collections in the Queenstown area, while maintaining accurate records and conducting safety checks.

Ideal candidates are customer-focused, able to work independently or as part of a team, and committed to health and safety. The role is permanent, full-time with a 40-hour week schedule.

Qualifications

• Clean and up-to-date Class 4 NZ driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle and equipment to collect services across the Queenstown area.
• Keep accurate records and paperwork; perform vehicle safety checks.

Job Description

We are looking for a Class 4 Driver to join our Queenstown team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for operating a vehicle and equipment on board to ensure a safe and timely collection of service throughout the Queenstown area. You’ll also be required to keep accurate records and paperwork and undertake vehicle safety checks.

At times there may be some heavy lifting so you will need to have a reasonable level of fitness. From previous experience, you’ll already know the importance of health and safety in the workplace, and you’ll champion our culture of making sure everyone gets home safely.

You are customer-focused and enjoy interacting with customers and colleagues. You’re comfortable working independently and pulling together as part of the team.

• A clean and up to date Class 4New Zealand driver’s licence
