Job summary

WM NZ Limited is New Zealand's leading resource recovery, recycling, and waste management provider. We’re seeking a Driver to operate a variety of trucks, perform safety checks, and keep accurate records for on-time collections.

You will work across front loaders, sideload, and rear-load vans, with a focus on safe, efficient service. You will hold a current Class 4 NZ driver’s licence and bring relevant driving experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Class 4 NZ driver’s licence.
• Relevant driving experience required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a vehicle and equipment to ensure safe, timely collection of service.
• Maintain accurate records and paperwork; perform vehicle safety checks.

About the role
As a Driver, you will be responsible for operating a vehicle and equipment on board to ensure a safe and timely collection of service. You’ll also be required to keep accurate records and paperwork and undertake vehicle safety checks. You will also driving a range of vehicles including front loaders, sideload and rear load trucks.

At times there may be some heavy lifting so you will need to have a reasonable level of fitness. From previous experience, you’ll already know the importance of health and safety in the workplace, and you’ll champion our culture of making sure everyone gets home safely.

Qualifications

About you
You are customer-focused and enjoy interacting with customers and colleagues. You’re comfortable working independently and pulling together as part of the team.

You will also need to have

• A clean and up-to-date Class 4 New Zealand driver’s licence
• Relevant driving experience
