Job summary

WM New Zealand is seeking a dedicated Driver to operate a Hook truck and trailer in the Kapiti region. You will ensure safe, timely haulage, perform daily safety checks, and maintain accurate records as part of a supportive team.

Permanent, full-time role with competitive rates and ongoing training. Applicants must have a valid NZ Class 5 licence and be eligible to work in New Zealand.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 NZ Driver's Licence.
• Proven heavy vehicle driving experience.
• Solid understanding of vehicle safety, maintenance and fatigue management.
• Strong attention to detail and record keeping skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to carry out daily checks.

Responsibilities

The role you'll play

About the role

As a Driver, you will be responsible for operating a Hook truck and trailer and equipment on board to ensure a safe and timely haulage service in the Kapiti Region. You'll also be required to keep accurate records and paperwork and undertake vehicle safety checks.

You’ll bring:
