Job summary

WM New Zealand is recruiting a Class 2 Driver to operate side-load collection routes around the greater Auckland region. You will be responsible for safe vehicle operation, record-keeping, and daily safety checks.

The role you’ll play.

Are you a skilled Class 2 Driver and keen to progress your career? Do you have a strong understanding of the NZTA regulations?

We are an essential service, if you have a great work ethic and looking for a driving role, we can offer you a great career.

As a Driver, you will be responsible for operating a vehicle and equipment on board to ensure a safe and timely side load collections in / around the greater Auckland regions. You’ll also be required to keep accurate records and paperwork and undertake vehicle safety checks.

At times there may be some heavy lifting so you will need to have a reasonable level of fitness. From previous experience, you’ll already know the importance of health and safety in the workplace, and you’ll champion our culture of making sure everyone gets home safely.

• A clean and up to date Class 2 New Zealand driver’s licence
• Relevant driving experience
• A reasonable level of fitness, as some heavy lifting will be required
