Job summary

WM New Zealand is seeking a skilled Class 2 Driver to join our essential services team in Auckland. You’ll operate a side load collection vehicle, adhere to NZTA regulations, and contribute to safe, timely daily routes.

This role requires good fitness, strong health and safety focus, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with teammates across the region.

Qualifications

• Class 2 NZ driver's licence (clean & up to date).
• Relevant driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate a vehicle and equipment to perform side load collections.
• Keep accurate records and complete paperwork for routes and collections.
• Undertake vehicle safety checks and report faults.
• Prioritise health and safety and work collaboratively with teams across the Auckland region.

The role you’ll play.

Are you a skilled Class 2 Driver and keen to progress your career? Do you have a strong understanding of the NZTA regulations?

We are an essential service, if you have a great work ethic and looking for a driving role, we can offer you a great career.

As a Driver, you will be responsible for operating a vehicle and equipment on board to ensure a safe and timely side load collections in / around the greater Auckland regions. You’ll also be required to keep accurate records and paperwork and undertake vehicle safety checks.

At times there may be some heavy lifting so you will need to have a reasonable level of fitness. From previous experience, you’ll already know the importance of health and safety in the workplace, and you’ll champion our culture of making sure everyone gets home safely.

You are customer-focused and enjoy interacting with customers and colleagues. You’re comfortable working independently and pulling together as part of the team.

• A clean and up to date Class 2 New Zealand driver’s licence
• Relevant driving experience
