Job summary

Christians Against Poverty New Zealand is seeking a Supporter Development Lead to drive donor engagement and grow financial support through strategic campaigns. You will engage donors by phone, deepen connections to CAP’s purpose, and deliver a first-class donor experience.

Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, you’ll coordinate acquisition, reactivation, and conversion campaigns, process donations, and produce fundraising reports. A full-time, permanent role in a fast-paced, purpose-driven team.

Qualifications

  • Excellent phone skills and comfortable driving donor engagement through all call types.
  • Comfortable using data insights to guide decision-making and campaign strategy.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong administration and organisational skills.
  • Able to prioritise workload efficiently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of a high-quality supporter engagement experience, that makes supporters feel valued and connected to CAP's mission
  • Plan and execute targeted acquisition, reactivation, and conversion calling campaigns to increase one-off and regular giving income
  • Accurately process donations, generate reports, and complete essential fundraising administration tasks
  • Collaborate with internal teams to lead out on a variety of fundraising initiatives and activities
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting to ensure transparency and effectiveness in fundraising efforts
